What I Believe
I seek first to meet people where they are without judgment, but with compassion and care toward those struggling with the challenges of life. My theoretical training is like a template through which I work. I am grounded in systems theory, which means I consider the individual in the context of their relationships with family, community, school/work and culture. Other theoretical approaches I may utilize include attachment and trauma, emotion focused, Sex Therapy and some behavioral and cognitive approaches.
While providing a confidential space and the safety needed to explore your concerns, I will listen respectfully and strive to create a non-judgmental atmosphere in which your unique goals and needs are honored. I strive to offer hope, encouragement and support to clients desiring to create positive life change. It is my privilege to walk beside others in their journey toward greater wholeness.
